FAQ's
frequently asked question
Can power washing damage my siding?
So it depends on the definition of power washing. If you use high pressure on vinyl siding, it can definitely damage it, depending on the level of oxidation. That's why we use a soft washing approach to cleaning any type of siding. We use a cleaning solution that we apply on the siding, let it dwell and then wash the siding with low pressure. There's never any high pressure used on the siding. Using high pressure is just begging for trouble. High pressure can also remove any oxidized layers on the siding, leaving marks on the surface. Any siding should first be soft-washed before attempting any medium pressure cleaning.
How do you soft-wash a roof and why should I have my roof washed?
The reason for having your roof washed is to remove any organic matter that grows on the roof. Letting living organisms thrive on your roof will accelerate the decomposition of your roof. That's why you should have your roof washed or cleaned at least once every five years.
How do you wash roofs?
We wash roofs by applying our cleaning solutions to the roof. No high pressure is ever used when washing the roof surface. Sometimes we rinse the roof after letting the solution dwell on the surface but most of the times, we leave the solution on the surface so it can further clean the surface until it evaporates or is washed by the rain. Having your roof washed gets rid of any algae, moss or black streaks that you might see on your roof shingles. In conclusion, the reason for having your roof washed is to extend the life of your roof and also for aesthetic looks.
How do I pay for the service?
Once we complete your power washing, you can either pay your technician with a check or you prefer, you can pay online once the service is completed.

Newly installed concrete within the last 18 months should not have any high pressure used on it because it can remove the top layer or cream of the concrete, exposing a rougher layer on a concrete that will cause the surface to look uneven and visible streaks on the surface. Once that is done, the damage is irreversible. It's really important on how you wash concrete, especially newer, newly poured concrete.
